Spelling Practice at Home!Spelling Practice at Home!
Every week your child comes home with spelling words to study. These words are the most frequently used words in the English language. It is crucial for them to be practicing them! Here is an amazing website that allows your child to type their words into a list and then it generates games and activities based on their own words. Your child will have fun and practice spelling the words all at once! Check it out! www.spellingcity.com/ ![]() Reading Lives“Building Our Reading Life”
In class, we have been working on building our reading lives. With building a reading life comes a love for reading. Currently, the kids have worked on finding a just right spot. As readers, we know that reading is thinking, so our spots need to be quiet and comfy. We also have found that we need to log our reading, so we can study our habits as readers. This will give us valuable information about the rate of reading, types of books we are reading, and our reading stamina at home and school. Please support your child in helping them find a just right spot and time for their reading lives! ![]() HomeworkHomework:
